The responsible organiser of Kuusamo Nature Photo Festival is Kuusamo Town Department of Culture. This international event is organised in close co-operation with Kuusamo College, Hannu Hautala Foundation, North Ostrobothnia Summer University, and Ruka-Kuusamo Tourist Association. The artistic director of the festival is nature photographer Lassi Rautiainen, one of the founding members of the event. The event is held at Kuusamo Hall.
